“I came to the Meadowlands Hospital experiencing massive convulsion…thank god I found the best place. Nurses were at the very top in knowing what was wrong with me at probably the worst moments of my life. Doctors were very understanding and were able to make fast decisions and to use tools that resulted in decreased levels of extraordinary pain. The Registration Clerk was fast and effective. I have received care when I most needed. Here I received better care than in larger hospitals in the area. I would recommend this hospital whenever I have the opportunity to do so. God Bless You!”
— Dragan J., Meadowlands Hospital Emergency Room Patient, August 2017
“Nurse Chelline Lichtenberger at the Meadowlands Hospital was the best nurse I have ever dealt with. She was immediately on top of everything I asked for. Aides Idelle Carter and Delfi Lopez were very good. Staff provided my wife with meals – very thoughtful.”
— Kenneth N., Meadowlands Hospital HCAHPS/3West Patient, August 2017
“Gabby Yanez was an excellent ER nurse at the Meadowlands Hospital.”

Employee Health Services
Employee Health Services focuses on fostering excellence in health care professionals, including nurses, aides, administrative personnel, and physicians. We do this through strict compliance with regulatory agencies, providing continuing education and promoting safe healthcare practices. The Employee Health nurse here at Meadowlands Hospital has a sincere interest in the well-being of each individual employee – this is demonstrated by a health program directed toward preventive care, health maintenance, education, counseling and promoting a safe work environment.
Prior to employment, Employee Health performs a physical exam and insures all appropriate vaccines and immunizations are current. All MHMC applicants are screened for substance abuse prior to becoming an employee. In addition, we also randomly screen our employees for drug use. MHMC is not interested in employing any staff member who may be a danger to our patients.
Each year, every employee is re-evaluated. We encourage our staff to maintain good personal health, and assist them in obtaining medical care when necessary. Should an employee require medical care, we encourage them to heal quickly for an early return to work to avoid any disruptions to the care of our patients. We also offer counseling when necessary.
"Victoria's friendly face and positive attitude make it easy to ask personal questions about possible medical conditions. She has the unique ability to allay any concerns or anxieties and provides straight-forward solutions to any medical problems."
