Volunteer Services
Welcome to the Volunteer Services department of Meadowlands Hospital Medical Center. It is a privilege to volunteer in the special environment of healthcare. Volunteers are a priceless resource who give the gift of themselves and of their time to "give-back" and do something they believe in. Our facility considers any applicant 14 years of age and over. Students required to do volunteering in a healthcare setting are also welcomed.
There are numerous ways in which volunteers can assist Meadowlands Hospital Medical Center. There are many varied departments in which to volunteer in. Volunteer orientations are conducted 12-15 times a year to accommodate the applicant’s schedule. Each applicant will be required to complete application and participate in a complimentary two-step Mantoux screening for tuberculosis. Applicants over the age of 18 will also require a background check which hospital will complete at no charge.
