“I had such a great experience at the Meadowlands Hospital! From ER Registration to nurses, anesthesiologist to my doctor – everyone was very professional and nice but most importantly caring! This is what makes this hospital great!"
— Emma R., Meadowlands Hospital Same Day Surgery Patient, May 2017

“MHMC Staff made me feel comfortable and at ease at all times. Nurses always made sure my bed was made and cleaned. I never knew hospital food could be so good. Great meals! Nurses were helpful – amazing staff. For my first C-section, there is no way I could have done it without my nurses. Thank you. Nurses made sure I was in no pain and kept up with me as much as possible. Everyone was friendly and polite. Staff made me feel like family and they honestly cared. At first I was very nervous because it was my first time in this hospital – after my experience I will recommend this hospital to everyone. One of the best hospitals I have ever been to – please keep up the good work!”

MHMC in Action

16 October 2011

On Sunday, October 16, two MHMC's basketball teams played at the "Scholarship" Basketball Tournament sponsored by Secaucus Spectator with the proceeds for Secaucus "Teen Center" & H.S. Scholarships.

The tournament took place at the Secaucus Recreation Center. The games were Four on Four Half Court with "first team to get seven baskets wins" regulation. This tournament gathered a good number of teams representing Secaucus organizations, businesses and vendors. Among them were: Bonefish, Capital One Bank, UPS, Chase Bank, Sports Authority, Springer, Hudson County Sheriff's Department, Outback, Nissan, Harmon Cove, Natoli's, Secaucus Spectator, PSE&G and many others.

MHMC was represented by junior (18-34) and senior (35 and up) teams. Both teams won the preliminary games easily and were qualified for the semifinals. The senior team passed the semifinals and the junior team didn't. They lost in a very intense and interesting game to the team that won the tournament in the finals and were placed 4th in their division. MHMC senior team went all the way to the finals and lost 1 point to Seltics with the 6:7 score. It was a great game with lots of drama, intensity and of course amazing sportsmanship demonstrated by both teams.

We didn't take the trophy home this time but we showed a great game and were very proud to represent our hospital.
