Meadowlands Hospital Assigns New Chief Medical Officer
As part of its ongoing efforts to ensure quality care, patient safety and a positive patient experience in Secaucus and the Meadowlands region, Meadowlands Hospital Medical Center (MHMC) announce today the appointment of Michael Sciarra, D.O., as its new Chief Medical Officer.
Dr. Sciarra is board-certified Gastroenterologist who also has a specialty in Internal Medicine. He has more than 16 years of professional medical experience. He received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University and a graduate D.O. degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) Medical School. Dr. Sciarra completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Fellowship in Gastroenterology at Seton Hall University. In addition to MHMC, he is affiliated with Hackensack University Medical Center, Holy Name Hospital and Palisades Medical Center.

Dr. Sciarra has served the Secaucus community as a physician from the beginning of his medical career and has been a staff physician at MHMC for as long.
