Welcome to the Meadowlands Hospital Medical Center
As part of our ongoing efforts to be the healthcare destination of choice for Secaucus and the surrounding area, we remain committed to bringing quality care and the highest levels of patient safety to each and every person in our community who comes to us for care. When you step through our doors, our professional and compassionate staff is ready to evaluate, diagnose, and treat your illness or injury, while ensuring your loved ones are comfortable while you are in our care.
In recent years, the hospital has invested millions of dollars in technological and physical upgrades to our facility, to enhance the level of care we can offer to our patients. Our expanded Emergency Room (ER) offers decreased wait times for evaluation, testing and treatment, addressing your emergency care and discharging you to the comforts of home as quickly as possible. In our ER, patients will see a nurse within five minutes of their arrival, and a trained ER physician within 15 minutes.
We offer the region’s most advanced diagnostic imaging equipment, including the latest in digital x-ray, CT and MRI scanning, and the most advanced digital mammography equipment available. Our ER has priority access to this advanced equipment as well, limiting long waits for important diagnostic imaging. Meadowlands has revolutionized its information technology systems, and now tracks the care of its patients through advanced electronic medical records (EMRs). These EMRs allow for efficient exchange of patient care notes, test results, and access to diagnostic images by members of our medical staff, streamlining care and enhancing the efficiency of our operation at all levels.
We also offer the most diverse medical staff in the area. Many of our physicians are multi-lingual, and can converse with patients in their native language, putting our non-English speaking patients more at ease that their needs are being met.
We are continually looking for ways to enhance our patient experience. If you have a suggestion on how we can better serve our patients and their families, please contact our administrative offices at 201-392-3100.
